NJSIA - Membership

Membership in the NJSIA

With NJSIA membership you can exchange information with other members of the industry relevant to the insurance investigation.  You will be part of the organization and its mission to combat insurance fraud.

Membership Criteria

To be eligible for membership you must be employed full-time in the insurance industry and your duties must include the detection, prevention, investigation or prosecution of insurance fraud or be employed by a law enforcement agency

Membership dues are currently $25 per year and are due in January of each year. New members must pay the yearly dues of $25 plus an Administrative/Processing fee of $25 for a total of $50. Dues and Fees paid by new members or reinstating members after November 15th shall be considered paid in full for the following calendar year. Membership lapses if dues are not paid by February 28th.

If your membership lapses, you must reapply as a new member and pay the $25 dues and the $25 Administrative/Processing fee for a total of $50. Reinstatements require that a complete membership application be submitted including a sponsor. The application will be reviewed carefully by the membership committee to insure your continued eligibility for membership on the same basis as that for a new member. As long as your dues don't lapse, even if you should change careers, and not then be eligible for membership, you can continue your membership.

Due to the high cost of postage, all items of importance are placed on our website for member’s information. Also because people change jobs more frequently than residences, all mailed items will go to home addresses. The cost of postage for undeliverable mail is a factor, but mostly we’re changing because many of you just don’t get the notifications we mail out. Home addresses will be required on all future renewals, reinstatements and new membership applications. We encourage all members to supply us with a current E-mail address and also that they sign up on our Mailing List at our Members Only section on this website to receive notifications.

If interested in becoming a member of NJSIA, please complete our application and submit it to the membership committee.
